One address for everything: hello@cinekosh.in. What to put in the message depends on why you are writing.

A record is wrong

Release dates move, casts change and public records are incomplete. Corrections are welcome from anyone — you do not need to be connected to the film.

  • The film, and a link to the page
  • The field that is wrong, and what it should say
  • Where the correct version can be checked — a producer’s announcement, an official listing, a certification record

That last line is the one that matters. CineKosh records where every fact came from, so a correction needs a source the same way the original entry did.

Something on this site is yours

If you hold rights in material shown on CineKosh — an image, a piece of writing, artwork — and you do not want it here, write and it comes down. You do not have to argue the point first.

  • A link to the page it appears on
  • What on that page is yours
  • Enough to show the claim is yours to make: the role you hold, the production company, or where the original was published
  • Whether you want it removed or credited differently

Expect a reply within two working days. Anything genuinely disputed is taken down while it is being sorted out, not left up while the conversation runs. The full process, including how to contest a removal, is set out under copyright and takedown.

You made the film

Producers, distributors and production houses: if you want your poster, stills, trailer or corrected credits on your film’s page, write with the material and say plainly that CineKosh may display it. Nothing belonging to a production goes up without that permission, which is why several pages currently show a placeholder instead of a poster.

What happens after you write

Every message is read before anything is changed. For a factual correction, CineKosh checks the source you provide against the source already attached to the record. If the new evidence is clearer or more recent, the maintained film page is updated. A dated news story is handled differently: it remains a record of what was known when it was published, with a correction added when the original wording was wrong or now needs context.

Rights complaints are reviewed separately from editorial corrections. Material under a genuine ownership dispute is removed while the claim is checked. Supplying the exact page address and identifying the image, video or passage in question helps avoid taking down unrelated material and makes the response faster.

Sending files and links

Links to public, first-party sources are the most useful evidence. For official artwork, stills or documents that are not published elsewhere, attach the original file or share a download link and include the production or distribution company you represent. Please do not send identity documents, account passwords, payment details or any other sensitive personal information; none of those are needed to investigate a correction or rights request.

A clear subject line helps route the message: use “Correction” with the film title, “Rights request” with the page address, or “Official material” with the production name. Keep source links in the body of the email so they remain visible even if an attachment cannot be opened. Common document and image formats are fine; a cloud link is better for large video or artwork files.

If one message concerns several pages, list each page separately with the requested change beside it. That keeps a multi-page correction auditable and reduces the chance that one item is missed.

What CineKosh will not do

It does not remove or soften a factual record because somebody would prefer a different number or a different date. A correction needs to show the record is wrong. Rights complaints are a separate matter and are handled as described above.
