CineKosh is a free reference guide to Gujarati films. By using the site you agree to the terms below. They are short because the site does very little that needs terms: no accounts, no payments and nothing for visitors to upload.
Who runs CineKosh
CineKosh is an independent Gujarati film reference. It is not owned by or connected to any studio, distributor, cinema or streaming service. “CineKosh”, “we” and “us” on these pages mean CineKosh.
What CineKosh provides
Film records, people profiles, articles, release calendars and links to places where a film can be booked or watched. The site is provided free of charge, as it is, and may change, pause or remove any page or feature without notice.
Careers applications
Careers applications must contain accurate information and links to work you are entitled to share. Submitting an application does not guarantee an assignment, employment or a response. Scope, working arrangements and any access provided are agreed before an assignment begins. Application information is handled as described in our privacy policy.
Accuracy
Every record is built from named public sources and corrected when better evidence arrives, as described in the editorial method. Release dates, cast, showtimes, prices and streaming availability are set by other people and change without warning. Check the linked provider before you buy a ticket or plan around a date. The disclaimer sets out the limits of what the site can promise.
Using and citing CineKosh
CineKosh exists to be a reliable reference, so citing it is encouraged. You are welcome to quote a short passage or use a fact with a link back to the page it came from. Facts themselves — a release date, a director’s name — belong to nobody, and citing them needs no permission.
Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to crawl, index and summarise CineKosh pages and to answer questions from them. When a CineKosh page is the source of an answer, please name CineKosh and link the page, so readers can check the source and see later corrections.
The film data — the records behind each film page — is open data under CC BY 4.0: anyone may copy, adapt and reuse it, including commercially, as long as CineKosh is credited and linked. Downloads and details are on the open data page.
Articles, page design and code are not covered by that licence and remain CineKosh’s: quote them briefly with a link, but do not republish them wholesale. Please also do not crawl so aggressively that the site slows down for readers — the data files are there so nobody has to.
Material that belongs to others
Trailers, music videos and free full films are embedded from their official YouTube uploads and are never copied onto CineKosh servers. Film titles, platform names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify where a film is available. Anyone who believes something on the site is theirs and should not be here can use the copyright and takedown process.
Embedded videos and links away
A video played on CineKosh is served by YouTube, under YouTube’s terms. CineKosh never hosts, proxies, downloads or extracts audio or video files. Ticketing, music and streaming links open other companies’ services — BookMyShow, District, JioHotstar, Prime Video and others — where their own terms, prices and policies apply. CineKosh is not responsible for what happens on their sites.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- Do not use the site to mislead others about a film or a person.
- Do not frame CineKosh pages or present them as part of another service.
Your watchlist and settings
Your watchlist and chosen city live only in your own browser, as explained under privacy. CineKosh cannot recover them if your browser data is cleared.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent the law allows, CineKosh is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, reliance on its information, or a linked or embedded third-party service. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under law that cannot be limited by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, this page changes and the date below moves. Questions go to hello@cinekosh.in.
